Michael Shofi has been a lover of music and art his entire life. Michael received his BFA in Musical Theater, magna cum laude, from Pace University’s Pforzheimer Honors College in 2020. In the realm of musical theatre, he has a passion for new, original work. Along with being a performer, he is an avid writer as well. A passionate indie songwriter with poetic yet quirky songs that hit home. Looking to enhance his technical abilities and develop his own unique style, Michael Shofi draws upon his love of nature and lifelong passion for music. LATEST MUSIC RELEASES
Most recently, Michael Shofi released the single "Raining Sunshine." The song is a collaboration with musician/songwriter James Schell. "Raining Sunshine" is streaming now on all platforms!
Currently, Michael is working on a full-length concept album entitled Distance with his best friend and collaborator, Jameson May. Shofi & May's Distance is a montage of songs about the trials, tribulations, joys and downfalls of long distance relationships. The live-performance of the album scheduled to debut at The Green Room 42 has been postponed. More news on Distance to come!
